… except that I live in NYC! (I find myself saying this more often than not). However, ahem, something I’d like to do another time in another place is grow my own saffron crocus. Not only because I love crocus (and these bloom in the Fall) but also because saffron is sooo dang expensive. How regal, to have saffron flowers next to old hat tomatoes, squash, basil.
